THE HOLY SPIRIT- OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND.} UNFORGIVENESS HINDERS DIVINE FORGIVENESS, KEEP FORGIVING. Noble Child of God, "....Jesus said, "that is how my heavenly Father will deal with you unless you each forgive your brother from your heart."(Mt.18:34-35(18:21-35) God's attributes like ever Loving, Compassionate and Merciful Father point to the limitlessness of His Forgiving Nature . That is very clear in the answer that Jesus Christ, the visible Image of our invisible God gave to Peter, who asked Him, "Lord, how often must I forgive my brother if he wrongs me? As often as seven times?"(Mt.18:21). Jesus answered, "Not seven, I tell you, but seventy-seven times.(Mt.18:22). That reply simply means that Forgiveness has no limit. We cannot forgive anybody enough. It has to be our habit or way of living. There is no doubt that this is not easy at all, but His Grace is always sufficient for us when we determine to try. That explains part of why our God shed His pure and precious blood through His only Son Jesus Christ to reconcile us with Himself. It was not easy for Jesus(God) but he(the guiltless)gave up his life for us(the guilty) to live. Thus, whoever imitates Him and forgives bears witness that he or she is truly made of His image and likeness and the person is also forgiven. This Covenant between God and humanity is so essential that Jesus had to include it in the only prayer he taught us, "Our Father". We say in the prayer, "Forgive us our sins as we forgave those who offended us" In other words, forgive us, as we have forgiven others and if we have not forgiven others, do not forgive us. What a Covenant indeed. No wonder, why the church made the prayer so central that we always recite it almost everyday in our prayers. Let us remember always that God's Rain falls for everybody and His Sun shines for everybody, whether righteous or sinful. He expects us to keep striving to imitate Him in not marking the guilts or hurts of anyone. He wants us to keep loving all and forgiving all for His sake and for our Peace, Success or Breakthrough on earth and altimatelly Salvation in Heaven. EVER LOVING, COMPASSIONATE, MERCIFUL AND FORGIVING FATHER, THANK YOU FOR LOVING US SO MUCH THAT YOU DO NOT MARK OUR SINS. YOU KNOW HOW HURTFUL HURTS CAN BE TO US AND HOW UNFORGIVING AND REVENGEFUL WE CAN FEEL OR BE SOMETIMES, WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO CONTINUE TO KNOW YOU BETTER, AND KEEP STRIVING TO LOVE YOU MORE BY FORGIVING WHOEVER OFFENDS US FOR YOUR SAKE, THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD, AMEN! 🙏 We thank God for His Grace and Favours in enabling our children and Teachers to resume Schools again. May we continue to learn, shine out more for His greater Glory and later live with Him forever in Heaven, Amen!
