He asked him, "Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment.The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself.(Mt.22:36-39(22:34-40). Today, Jesus reminds us, that 'Love of God and Love of our neighbours are the summary of the entire, God's will, desire and demands from us in the Bible. That means that God expects us to love Him with all our hearts, minds and souls. That love has to be felt, seen, known and possibly measured by the love we express with our gifts of time, talents and treasures to our brothers and sisters and for the good of humanity, especially the needy. St. John the Evangelist buttressed this same view of Jesus by saying, "If any one says, 'I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen."(1John 4:20). Simply put, whatever we do to promote, improve or sustain life anywhere, we do that to God who is the creator and author of all lives and that gesture will surely yield eternal dividends for us. Jesus taught us that, when he said, "In truth I tell you, in so far as you did this to one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it to me."... "In truth I tell you, in so far as you neglected to do this to one of the least of these, you neglected to do it to me."(Mt. 25:40;45(Mt.25:31-45). Let us remember always that nothing good comes very easy, and keep ensuring that we do not allow anyone, anything or any condition or situation to make us to stop loving anyone for God's sake. Jesus said to them, "Very well, pay Caesar what belongs to Caesar -- and God what belongs to God.'(Mt.22:21(Mt.22:15-21). Jesus used the citation above to escape the dangerous trap some Pharisees and Jewish Leaders set up for him. They asked him publicly whether it is proper for them to pay taxes or not to pay. If he says, do not pay taxes, the Roman Authorities then will call him a traitor and come after him. And if he says, pay taxes, his people, the Jews will consider him their enemy. However, He silenced them with his answer, 'give back to Caesar what belongs to him and give to God what belongs to him too. Thus, he made it very clear to them then and to us today that, we have both Secular and Religious Obligations to fulfill as children of God on mission for him on earth. Our civil responsibilities include, paying our Taxes, having updated Licenses, having our Voters Card and voting, obeying our Nations' Constitutions, traffic lights, etc. Secondly, giving God what belongs to him implies giving God our hearts and entire beings by striving always to obey his commandments, praying in and out of season, donating for Church projects and to support the needy, ensuring that we do not compromise our prayers, Masses and other serious church activities for our business, work, travels, Selfishness or flimsy reasons. THE HOLY SPIRIT - OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND. REMAIN READY ALWAYS WITH YOUR GARMENT OF NEW LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST. Child of God, in the parable of Jesus today, we read that,"....When the king came in to look at the guests he noticed one man who was not wearing a wedding garment and said to him, "How did you get in here, my friend, without a wedding garment?" And the man was silent. Then the king said to the attendants, "Bind him hand and foot and throw him into the darkness outside, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth."For many are invited but not all are chosen.'(Mt.22:11-14(22:1-14) Fundamentally, God created us all in his lovely Image and Likeness of Love. It is very evident in the scriptures and the teachings of the Church that He desires to share His eternal life and joy in heaven with us after our earthly lives. But that is on the condition that our lives on earth reflect his will as it is done in his kingdom in heaven. Thus, Jesus used the parable of today to express his disappointment with some Jewish leaders, the Chief Priests, the Pharisees, the Scribes,etc who believed erroneously that as the chosen people of God and the descendants of Abraham, they have automatic tickets to heaven. They turned God's calls and invitations to repentance through his Prophets down. God in his infinite love and wisdom extended the same invitation to the Gentiles and they responded well. Thus, we see that in the story of Jesus, the king made everybody, both "the good and the bad" to leave every engagement and be at his banquet without prior notice. Despite that, he was still unhappy with the man without proper uniform and ordered that he should be punished. Child of God, it is important to note that heavenly banquet is going on and we either join or miss it at the end of our time on earth that is unknown to us but always very sudden. If we bear lasting fruits of Love, Goodness, Humility, Forgiveness, kindness, Meekness, Compassion, Patience, Mercy, etc.on earth, we will join but if not, God forbid, we may miss it. That means that the more we practice these virtues on earth, the more we identify with the kingdom of God where they are lived well and where the Eternal Feast is going on. Like the earthly king spotted the man at the banquet without uniform and sent him to where he belongs, that is how those who are still wearing their clothes of old ways of life, hatred, Selfishness, unforgiving Spirit,etc at the time of death may not be allowed to join in the banquet. Therefore, though Heaven is for everybody but only those who persevered in doing the will of God till death will be part of it and it's Feast(Lk.21:19). It is very important that we remember always that while alive, God prompts or calls us daily through what we see, hear, perceive and experience, especially through his Church in diverse ways to remove our old clothes of bad lives and put on the New one of New Life in Jesus Christ. PROMPTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT - OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND.} KEEP MAINTAINING YOUR CHILD AND FATHER RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. Child of God, Jesus granted the request of his disciples, that he should teach them how to pray. He taught them. He started with, "When you pray, this is what to say: Father, may your name be held holy, your kingdom come...."(Lk.11:2(11:1-4). The need for us to be healthier, holier and friendly with God because of our forgiving Spirit, forgiving disposition and forgiving attitudes are very pronounced in that beautiful prayer that Jesus taught us. But I am prompted to reflect more on what I consider to be part of the foundation of all. That is viewing God as, "Our Father". We all want to be fruitful, happy and fulfilled. Essentially, we always want to see our good heart desires coming true. This does not depend on our power nor might but on the love, grace and plan of God for us. As such, our view of God is very necessary in determining our approach to Him and the depth of our relationship with Him. I trust that, that is partly why Jesus made the first sentence of the first part of the pattern of prayer he taught us to start with "Our Father", Thus, whenever we address God as our Father, genuinely from the depth of our hearts, it shows our childlike respect, humility and recognition of our total dependent on Him. This is a true disposition for prayer, which is Human - Divine Dialogue. It is meant to be a Lovely Child talking with his or her all Knowing, Loving, Caring, Compassionate, Forgiving and powerful father. That means that our prayer is clearly not to be like a slave or a servant begging a master for something. Therefore, it is note worthy that Childlike Approach and Relationship with God as "Our Father" is very essential for good prayer. Secondly, if we truly see God as our Father, we would be willing and ready to please him by striving sincerely to do His will. When we do so we hallow, honour, praise and promote his holy name with our good lives and works. Hence, every good work Honours God and bears witness to His emerging kingdom of righteousness, immortality and eternity, etc. Let us keep praying and striving to see God clearly and convincingly as our loving and caring Father. Let us keep developing or maintaining our good relationship with God. It opens up the door for all other virtues we need to put God first in all things, serve and honour Him well in all our words and deeds. Noble Child of God, "...I tell you, then, that the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit".(Mt.21:43(21:33-43) The Biblical citation above points to God's expectations of fruitfulness from us, the New House of Israel and Christians. Jesus was so disappointed with the Chief Priests, the Pharisees, Scribes, etc, that he described them well with the parable of the Wicked Tenants. His message there is that as Christians, God has endowed each of us with many talents and gifts and expects that we would bear lasting fruits of love and care, justice and integrity, forgiveness and reconciliation while we keep uprooting from our lives and with humility and love, that of others, hatred and Malice, wickedness and bloodshed, injustice and divisions, immorality and falsehood,etc. Let us keep asking ourselves daily, "what kind of fruit am I bearing for God or what virtue am I cultivating in my life? THE HOLY SPIRIT - OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND.} ENSURE YOU REMAIN IN GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD Noble Child of God, Jesus said to the Chief Priests and Pharisees, "What is your opinion? A man had two sons. He went and said to the first, "My boy, go and work in the vineyard today." He answered, "I will not go," but afterwards thought better of it and went. The man then went and said the same thing to the second who answered, "Certainly, sir," but did not go. Which of the two did the father's will?' They said, 'The first."(Mt.21:28-31(21:28-32). The Father in the parable of Jesus stands for our God who loves and remains with us always. He prompts and directs us on his will and the right path of life to follow but respects our FREE WILL. He does not force anyone to obey Him but gives us the grace always to do so. The first Son said to his father, no, "I will not go to the farm". That would have been disobedience, if he did not change his mind. Later, he thought of it. He cooperated with the grace of God and obeyed his father. He did not sin because he did his father's will. Anyone who refuses to do the will of God, disobeys or sins. That reminds us that even in our ignorance, temptations and trials, God's Grace is always sufficient for us not to sin. If we do sin, no matter the degree, our God remains with us and patiently keeps offering us the grace to repent and start living like his true child again. Let us remain steadfast in the "YES" we have said to God and keep upholding his commandments. If we make any mistake as we are bound to do as human beings, let us renew our relationship with Him quickly by acknowledging our sins and asking for forgiveness in our prayers and through the sacrament of reconciliation. Let our good lives continue to speak more than our words that we are Christians and children of God. Let us not live promise and fail lives like the second son in the parable of Jesus. It is true that change is constant but let us keep striving to move from negative attitudes, habits and lives to positive ones. THE HOLY SPIRIT - OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND. NOT HOW LONG A CHRISTIAN OR A BELIEVER BUT HOW WELL TILL DEATH Noble Child of God, in the story(parable) of Jesus in the Gospel of St.Matthew, "those who were hired at about the eleventh hour(5 pm) came forward and received one denarius each. When the first came(6 am), they expected to get more, but they too received one denarius each. They took it, but grumbled at the landowner saying, "The men who came last have done only one hour, and you have treated them the same as us, though we have done a heavy day's work in all the heat"(Mt.20:9-12(20:1-16). God's thoughts and ways are indeed far apart from that of human beings.(Is.55:8). It may look unfair for the landowner in the parable of Jesus to pay those who worked from 6 am to 6 pm the same wage with those who worked for just an hour, 5 pm to 6 pm. It is very essential to note two details. First, the Landowner gave the first set of laborers the very amount they agreed on, without considering that they worked less than they would have done, since he brought in more hands to join them in doing the same work. So he was not unjust to them. Secondly, those who worked for just an hour were not idlers. They came out earlier to be hired but they were not. They would have gone home dejected and frustrated if not the Mercy, Compassion and Generosity of the Landowner. All those who worked in His Vineyard, regardless of the time they started work went home happy with the same wage. Thus, Jesus used this parable to teach those who believed that they are the first and the chosen people of God, like the Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes, etc, that the Tax collectors, the prostitutes, the thief on the Cross with Jesus,etc are also gaining eternal life. Therefore, God is always the one who calls people to follow Him or to lead His people. He can use any means to call, through birth into a Christian Family, through friends, Classmates, colleagues, spouse,etc. His interest is in having faithful followers. No matter the seconds, minutes, days or years that one carries his or her crosses after Jesus, the same reward with Eternal life and joy in Heaven await all. Let us not be jealous of anyone nor compare our favours with that of others. God knows us well and loves us. His Grace, Mercy, Compassion and Generous Favours are always very sufficient for all those who love Him and strive to do His will. We have no reason to compete but to persevere in doing Good. THE HOLY SPIRIT- OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND.} UNFORGIVENESS HINDERS DIVINE FORGIVENESS, KEEP FORGIVING. Noble Child of God, "....Jesus said, "that is how my heavenly Father will deal with you unless you each forgive your brother from your heart."(Mt.18:34-35(18:21-35) God's attributes like ever Loving, Compassionate and Merciful Father point to the limitlessness of His Forgiving Nature . That is very clear in the answer that Jesus Christ, the visible Image of our invisible God gave to Peter, who asked Him, "Lord, how often must I forgive my brother if he wrongs me? As often as seven times?"(Mt.18:21). Jesus answered, "Not seven, I tell you, but seventy-seven times.(Mt.18:22). That reply simply means that Forgiveness has no limit. We cannot forgive anybody enough. It has to be our habit or way of living. There is no doubt that this is not easy at all, but His Grace is always sufficient for us when we determine to try. That explains part of why our God shed His pure and precious blood through His only Son Jesus Christ to reconcile us with Himself. It was not easy for Jesus(God) but he(the guiltless)gave up his life for us(the guilty) to live. Thus, whoever imitates Him and forgives bears witness that he or she is truly made of His image and likeness and the person is also forgiven. This Covenant between God and humanity is so essential that Jesus had to include it in the only prayer he taught us, "Our Father". We say in the prayer, "Forgive us our sins as we forgave those who offended us" In other words, forgive us, as we have forgiven others and if we have not forgiven others, do not forgive us. What a Covenant indeed. No wonder, why the church made the prayer so central that we always recite it almost everyday in our prayers. Let us remember always that God's Rain falls for everybody and His Sun shines for everybody, whether righteous or sinful. He expects us to keep striving to imitate Him in not marking the guilts or hurts of anyone. He wants us to keep loving all and forgiving all for His sake and for our Peace, Success or Breakthrough on earth and altimatelly Salvation in Heaven. Noble Child of God, there is no doubt that, it is very difficult for someone who is poor, suffering, rejected, grieving, insulted, deprived, etc., to believe that he or she is BLESSED(Lk 6:20-26). THE HOLY SPIRIT - OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND.} KEEP ENSURING THAT WRONGS KNOWN TO YOU ARE CORRECTED WELL. Noble Child of God, Jesus said, "If your brother does something wrong, go and have it out with him alone, between your two selves. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother"(Mt.18:15(18:15-20) We are meant, as God's Prophets and disciples, not just to live exemplary lives but to also ensure that our Brothers and Sisters, our neighbours do the same. Thus, our roles as Christians go beyond that of watchmen described in the Bible (Ezek.3:17-21). We are not just called to alert or warn people to avoid sin or change from their evil ways or just to keep striving quietly to live a holy life. Jesus reminds us with the citation above, that we are to forgive hurts and ensure that the person who hurt us or the one who wronged or inflicted pain on anyone that comes to our notice becomes remorseful and turn over a new leaf. That means that we are encouraged to keep helping each other to live better by correcting one another privately with love and humility, not with 'holier than thou' attitude. It is very important to remember always that, "THE REPENTANCE OF ANYONE" is an act of God, not human. As such, let us always approach whoever we want to correct with our interior prayer and Greatest Friend, Holy Spirit. Let us remember always that whoever presents himself or herself to us like an 'Unbeliever,' 'Tax Collector' or 'Gentile' demands that we persevere and intensify our prayers and good works for his or her repentance, trusting in God's time that is always the best. THE HOLY SPIRIT - OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND.} OUR LIVES ARE DIVINE GIFTS FOR SERVICE. Noble Child of God,Come Holy Spirit!..."Leaving the synagogue Jesus went to Simon's house. Now Simon's mother-in-law was in the grip of a high fever and they asked him to do something for her. Standing over her he rebuked the fever and it left her. And she immediately got up and began to serve them.(Lk.4:38-39(4:38-44) Peter's Mother-in-Law was weighed down with severe fever at the time Peter brought Jesus and his other disciples to visit her. That "severe fever" can be seen as anything that can hinder anyone from finding joy and fulfillment in his family, marriage, work, office, Church, shops etc. It can be lack of faith and trust in God, lack or lost of money, property, job, husband, wife, children, ignorance.etc. Whatever it may be, we are encouraged to call on Jesus anytime to intervene, and on the Saints of God to intercede for us. Let us remember that no time is too late for God to resolve our challenges. Peter's Mother-in-Law started serving her guests immediately Jesus restored her health. Let our daily Divine gifts of life continue to spur us on to keep striving to serve God in our brothers and Sisters well, for that is our mission on earth. We can see that same Spirit and zeal for service in our perfect Model and Master Jesus Christ. Haven preached with authority in the Synagogue the previous day and done several healing, he got up very early and went to prepare himself in a lonely place before he goes to another place to continue his service of preaching the Good News, for which he came. THE HOLY SPIRIT - OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND. KEEP PERSEVERING IN FOLLOWING JESUS DAILY WITH YOUR CROSS. Noble Child of God, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle in my path, because you are thinking not as God thinks but as human beings do"(Mt.16:23(16: 21-27). Naturally, no normal human being loves pain, suffering, hardship, persecution, humiliation, etc. We are naturally inclined to avoid anything that can make us and our loved ones uncomfortable. Thus, in human view, Simon Peter could not comprehend why the Son of God, the Messiah, the anointed one should tell them that he is destined to be rejected, to suffer and be killed. For them, who can suffer or kill the anointed one, the Messiah? Peter thought that Jesus was having negative thoughts about himself and decided to counsel him out of such thoughts. But Jesus rebuked him. He said that he is thinking like human beings, not like God does. Oftentimes we forget that God uses discomforts or persecutions as he wants to deepen our faith and bring us closer to Himself. He uses them to send us to where He wants us to live and serve Him in Families, Marriages, Parishes, Schools, Offices, Shops, Markets, etc And He uses them to shape our characters to suit His good plans. Jesus made it very clear to his disciples, and to us that whoever wants to be a Christian or a disciples of him should first renounce himself or herself, take up his cross daily and follow him"(Mt.16:24). That means that there is no cross less Christianity. Every Christian must have something challenging him or her to prove his or her faith or love of God. So for God's sake, no threat with any discomfort or even death should make us to compromise or give up our faith or love of God(Rm.8:35-37). Our perseverance in following Jesus daily with our crosses will win us our lives(Lk.21:19) EVER LIVING AND LOVING FATHER, YOU KNOW HOW WEAK AND FAITHLESS WE CAN BE SOMETIMES IN THE FACE OF SOME CHALLENGES IN OUR LIVES. THE HOLY SPIRIT OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND. KEEP MAINTAINING YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS. Child of God, Come Holy Spirit...But you,' Jesus asked, 'who do you say I am?' Then Simon Peter spoke up and said, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.' Jesus replied, 'Simon son of Jonah, you are a blessed man! Because it was no human agency that revealed this to you but my Father in heaven.(Mt.16:15-17(16:13-20) It is important to note that an honest answer to the question, "Who do I say that Jesus is? Or proper reflection on Peter's answer to that question can be of great help to us. Let us not just know about Jesus but strive to have personal relationship with Him. If we do so, we will hear Him better and have the grace to obey Him. Thus, God the Father answered the question of Jesus to his disciples, through Simon Peter because of the close relationship between Him and Peter. Jesus was very pleased with Simon Peter's spot on answer and blessed him, nicknamed him Peter (the rock) and made him the leader of his emerging community of believers. We can say that, God the Father made his choice of Simon Peter to be the leader of his Church by speaking through him. Jesus simply pronounced the symbols of his office and a little description of his role as the chief shepherd of God's flock. That reminds us that God is always the one who calls whoever he wants to serve Him. He does not choose the qualified but whoever he chooses for the reasons best known to him, he qualifies to work for Him. It is note worthy, that after his resurrection, Jesus called Peter three consecutive times and asked him to take care of his flock. So, no doubt that Peter's deep personal relationship with God earned him Divine Grace and Favours. Let us keep Striving earnestly to maintain our personal relationship with God and His Grace will continue to be sufficient for us to keep loving and serving him better. THE HOLY SPIRIT - OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND. GOD TESTS. KEEP PASSING HIS TEST. Child of God, Come Holy Spirit!...Jesus said in reply, ''I was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.' But the woman had come up and was bowing low before him. 'Lord,' she said, 'help me.'He replied, 'It is not fair to take the children's food and throw it to little dogs.' She retorted, 'Ah yes, Lord; but even little dogs eat the scraps that fall from their masters' table.' Then Jesus answered her, 'Woman, you have great faith. Let your desire be granted.' And from that moment her daughter was well again".(Mt.15:24-28(15:21-28) God is all-knowing. He is aware of every past, present, and future events(Omniscient). As God, nothing was hidden to Jesus. Thus, as soon as he saw the Canaanite Woman, He knew her very well like he knew the Samaritan Woman that met him at the Well(Jn.4:1-42). When the friends of the Paralytic man opened the roof and lowered him down for Jesus to cure him, he knew that the cause of the man's illness was sin and he forgave him(Mt.9:1-8). Therefore, let us remember always that our beloved God knows us and all our yearnings very well. But we should not also forget that He created all things for "His Fun"(Glory). So he knows all the WHY? behind everything. We panic and worry so much about things and events because we do not know very well the Good plans of God for us. When Jesus got the message that his friend Lazarus was sick, he said, "This sickness will not end in death, but it is for God's glory so that through it the Son of God may be glorified"(Jn 11:4). Indeed, the son of God was glorified through that sickness, death and raising from the death of Lazarus. We can see his good reason for not curing his good friend Lazarus when he was invited and expected to do so. Like the Canaanite woman, let us keep approaching God in prayers with humility, childlike trust and faith that he is abundantly able to grant our needs. We can pray vigorously with convictions but not shouting or commanding God to "do it now". His time, we say is the best, not our time. Let us also remind ourselves that persistence and perseverance are very essential for effective prayers. Hence, delay, not denial is one of the means he uses to test our faith and love of him and our neighbours. No doubt that waiting on God for our needs can be very challenging sometimes, but can we make it a point of duty to always see reasons to identify and acknowledge God's faithfulness in our lives and appreciate him? Appreciation, we say is an application for more. May our faith and perseverance in good works help us to keep passing our daily Divine Tests. THE HOLY SPIRIT - OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND. FEAR NOT.JESUS IS WITHIN US AND NEAR US TO SAVE US. Child of God, Come Holy Spirit!..."Jesus said, 'Come.' Then Peter got out of the boat and started walking towards Jesus across the water, but then noticing the wind, he took fright and began to sink. 'Lord,' he cried, 'save me!' Jesus put out his hand at once and held him. 'You have so little faith,' he said, 'why did you doubt?(Mt.14:29-31(14:22-33) The disciples of Jesus were afraid in their boat because the sea waves, storms and winds were against them. Like the disciples on a journey with the boat, we are also on a journey, traveling from this world to heaven. As such, many things like financial demands, health challenges, family concerns, School matters, Job demands, emotional concerns, disappointments, etc scare and terrify us. Like the waves and the storms try to make the disciples' boat sink, the challenges and trials we experience daily are also testing our trust and faith in God, trying to sink us. Are we going to remain firm on the right path of life and please God or are we going to start looking for Jesus that is in us and near us where he is not? We can see that Jesus was not disturbed. He walked on the sea as the Master of the universe to meet his disciples. He showed that he is above the challenges of this world. When they saw him, they thought he was a ghost and became more terrified. He calmed their fears. He said, "Courage, it is I" ; Zealous Peter said, Lord, if you are the one ask me to come to you. He asked him to come. Focusing on Jesus, his love, power, compassion, mercy, miracles, etc. Peter walked on the sea towards him. But when he moved his focus and attention from Jesus to the waves and the winds he started sinking. He called on Jesus to save him and he lifted him up. Let us remember always that Jesus is ever with us and near us to help or save us. Let us keep focusing on Pleasing God so that we may remain afloat and not on our lacks and needs that will make us to sink. God knows all we need. The more we recognize his presence and nearness to us, the joyful, the happier and the safer our journeys will be. THE HOLY SPIRIT - OUR BEST AND GREATEST FRIEND. GOD TESTS. KEEP PASSING HIS TEST. Child of God, Come Holy Spirit!...Jesus said in reply, ''I was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.' But the woman had come up and was bowing low before him. 'Lord,' she said, 'help me.'He replied, 'It is not fair to take the children's food and throw it to little dogs.' She retorted, 'Ah yes, Lord; but even little dogs eat the scraps that fall from their masters' table.' Then Jesus answered her, 'Woman, you have great faith. Let your desire be granted.' And from that moment her daughter was well again".(Mt.15:24-28(15:21-28) There is a common knowledge that God is all-knowing. That means that He is aware of every past, present, and future events(Omniscient). But some of us seem not to remember it very often when we are in need, especially when we turn to God in prayers. Jesus may not have met the Canaanite woman before but as "God", He knew her very well. He knew that She was a humble and faithful woman. He knew that she will not disappoint him, she will pass his test and she did. Remember that Jesus also knew the Samaritan Woman that met him at the Well very well and engaged her into an interesting and remarkable conversation that ended visibly in God's Glory(Jn.4:1-42). When the friends of the Paralytic man opened the roof and lowered him down to Jesus to cure him, he knew that the cause of the man's illness was sin and he forgave him(Mt.9:1-8) When Philip brought Nathaniel to Jesus, he complimented him and he was surprised. Jesus told him that before Philip came to call him he saw him under a fig tree(Jn 1:43-51). Noble Child of God, let us remember always that our beloved Creator and Father, beloved Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and our beloved comforter and advocate, Holy Spirit know us and all our yearnings very well. But He always wants to see our love of Him and our neighbours and our trust and faith in Him. So the questions that may help us are: Can we persist and persevere in our prayers and good works when he decides to test us with his delays? No doubt that waiting on Him can be very challenging. Can we present our needs to him more with humility, childlike trust and faith without "shouting or commanding him" to do it now? His time, we say is the best. Can we make it a point of duty to always see reasons to identify and acknowledge God's faithfulness in our lives and appreciate him? Appreciation, we say is an application for more.
